A COMMENT ON THE ACADEMIC NATURE OF LoopTransPort 2018
Thank you very much for your participation in LoopTransPort 2018!
Since this is the FIRST academic conference on hyperloop, we would like to emphasize the open, collegial, and non-commercial nature of this event.
LoopTransPort 2018 will feature a program that includes invited keynote presentations, and submitted oral and poster presentations. Its fundamental goal is to initiate and facilitate communication between scientists, researchers, engineers, students, technologists, developers, policy makers, and others with interest in the hyperloop community. There is also time for informal interaction during breaks and the reception.
Companies may participate and introduce their products through the Conference Exhibitor program (details on the website).
We would like the participants to take into account the following:
All contributions to the conference, whether invited or submitted, should address hyperloop related transportation technologies or impacts - fundamental science, systems engineering, component development and applied technology, architecture, urban impacts, infrastructure economics, and other related fields.
The conference is conceived as an academic forum, therefore, we strongly encourage individuals and/or company representatives to avoid promotional or advertising material or activities within their oral or poster presentations within the main sessions.
All Corporate Sponsorship to LoopTransPort 2018 is greatly appreciated and very important for its success. The support of sponsors will be recognized appropriately during the conference, but without endorsement to any specific products, developments or materials.
